XIII Polish Chromatography Conference
The 13th Polish Chromatography Conference, which we co-organized, took place in Katowice on June 25-28, 2023. This event was a continuation of the tradition of Polish Chromatographic Conferences, aimed at presenting the latest national achievements in the field of separation methods. The conference, under the patronage of the Committee of Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, was organized by the Institute of Chemistry of the University of Silesia in Katowice, the Institute of Fundamentals of Environmental Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Zabrze and the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. The proceedings took place in the building of the Faculty of Humanities, University of Silesia in Katowice. The conference coincided with the 120th anniversary of the discovery of this constantly developing analytical technique by Mikhail S. Tsvet, and was attended by approximately 100 people, 8 plenary lectures and 19 other oral presentations and 36 poster communications. The media patronage of the Conference was provided by the Malamut publishing house with the magazine Analytyka and Laboratorium - Przegląd Ogólnopolski. Many specialist companies participated in the 13th Polish Chromatography Conference, including the platinum sponsor Metrohm Polska. The substantive level was supervised by the Scientific Committee of the Conference, composed primarily of members of the Chromatographic Analysis and Related Techniques Team headed by prof. conv. Ph.D. dr h.c. Bogusław Buszewski, member thing. MR. In addition to the speeches of scientists at the 13th Polish Chromatography Conference representing national centers, among others: the results of work carried out at the Department of Chemistry were presented, you could listen to lectures by famous chromatographists invited from various European countries, including: from Germany, Turkey and Italy.
